CURRENT GUILD ACTIVITIES/PROJECTS...
MYSTERY QUILT
The Mystery Quilt has nine ladies participating as of February. If anyone else is interested please let us know ASAP. These are always fun to do and everyone is unique when you see the different colors that everyone uses. The cutting list and first set of directions will be handed out at the February meeting. Don't shy away, we have fun and are here to help if anyone needs help or has questions.
MILE-A-MINUTES
Many blocks, over 500 blocks were brought in that guild member Marge has made. Use your imagination with putting them together, either with sashing, set next to each other, or whatever idea you come up with. We'll make Marge proud with helping her hard work cross the finish line with completed projects.
PILLOWCASES & CHRISTMAS STOCKINGS
As stated at the meeting we will accept pillowcases and Christmas stockings at ANY TIME thru out the year. This gives everyone more time to complete these items.. Plus when it's 90 degrees outside it will help you to cool down while you are making a Christmas stocking or two!!! I'll give updates throughout the year with how many we have received.
COMMUNITY SERVICE IN NEED
We've had many needs with people/families needing quilts in the past months. We are in need of quilts for children, men or women. This could be a great project for some of the ladies to get together in groups to work on some together. Orphan blocks that are waiting to have a purpose would be just the ticket to get turned into community service quilts. Sewing sessions are great time to work on things like this.
Veteran Quilts Veteran Quilts have been on the forefront of our "items needed" list. With that being said, our guild has helped as much as we can by purchasing batting, backing and fabric. Also, Shelly was able to get us fabric through a grant from Thrivent. So we're in great shape to have our guild members bring in some wonderful, much needed Veteran quilts. It takes a village of wonderful ladies to bring this project to fruition. We hope with the items provided that there will be many Veterans quilts brought in during the next few months. We thank you in advance. And thank you Shelly for heading up this project.
UFO EXCHANGE by Sheila

Thanks to all who participated!
